FAQs

What qualifications do I need to attend your courses?

You must be registered medical professionals. NMC/GDC/GMC/GPC. We also train wider allied health professionals with active registration of an approved body.

No other pre-requisites.

Do I have to attend all modules?

You can attend all or pick individual modules to suits your needs.

Do you provide models?

Yes, we provide models. If you would like to bring your own just let us know.

How many delegates per course?

Our training academy can accommodate up to 15 delegates per event. Each event will not necessarily have 15 delegates but this will be the maximum. There will be up to 3 trainers available on the day to overlook.

Do I need indemnity insurance?

Beginners will be protected under the existing insurance policy of the training centre up until enough training is completed that allows you to practise independently. The reason for this is that as a new injector without experience in aesthetics, you do not have the eligibility for specialist aesthetics insurance. This will only be available to you when you have completed your basic aesthetic training. Once you’ve completed your training session (e.g. Foundation BOTOX® and Dermal Fillercourse), it’s at that point that you should arrange to get your aesthetics professional indemnity insurance in place before you start injecting in your own aesthetics business.

Those of you already injecting should be covered under your own policies.

Where will I train?

AART Training courses are all held in our modern and fully-equipped Training Clinic just outside Leeds city centre in Alwoodley.

Our training space provides ample space to encompass a dedicated training seminar room for classroom-based learning along with clinical rooms,

Trainees are welcomed in a reception / waiting area and as you would expect catering facilities are fully provided.

I’m not an independent presciber, can I still attend?

Yes, all non-prescribing medical professionals are welcome to attend The AART Training courses.

There are specific guidelines/regulations about remote prescribing for Prescription-Only Medicines (POM) including Botox across professional regulatory bodies, including the GMC and NMC. When you have finished the course, you will need to arrange for an Independent Prescriber to undertake face to face consultations with your patients. We will give you more information about this at your course.

What if I cant make all the dates but would like to take advamtage of the discounted rate?

You can go on to the next available date.

There are terms and conditions attached to booking our courses. Please see separate T&Cs on the website before booking a course.
